The Freedoms We Deliver

Outcomes — measured every quarter.

Every managed services engagement is reviewed quarterly against the freedoms it was supposed to deliver.

Freedom from key-person risk

Coverage when your Sage Intacct admin is on PTO, in transition, or simply needs a backup. Scoped service credentials and documented procedures.

Freedom from late closes

On-call coverage through every month-end so the close calendar holds — even when your AP lead is out and a recurring journal needs a fix.

Freedom from "what is next?"

Quarterly executive reviews surface the next automation, integration, or reporting upgrade — strategy without a full-time finance-tech hire.

Freedom from silent failures

Integration monitoring catches when Bill.com, Ramp, ADP, or your EMR feeds break — before finance discovers it at close.

Freedom from "is this how we should do it?"

A CPA-led team your controller can call before making a configuration change, building a report, or onboarding a new entity.

Freedom from siloed advisors

When Campbell & Company also handles your bookkeeping, tax, and advisory, your finance-technology partner sits at the same table — and your rate goes down.

Managed Services Lifecycle

Assess. Onboard. Operate. Optimize. Renew.

A repeatable lifecycle so leadership always knows what is being delivered, what is being measured, and when scope is reviewed.

  1. Assess

Audit current Sage Intacct configuration, integrations, reporting, close calendar, and team workflow. Document the operating baseline and the top three improvement opportunities.

  2. Onboard

Document procedures, transfer credentials to scoped service accounts, define escalation paths, agree on monthly hours and response SLAs, and stand up shared tooling.

  3. Operate

Run the day-to-day: ticket intake, month-end close support, system administration, integration monitoring, dimension hygiene, and end-user training.

  4. Optimize

Quarterly review with leadership. Surface trends from ticket data, propose the next two automation candidates, and refresh the technology roadmap.

  5. Renew

Quarterly renewal cycle. Adjust monthly hours, response SLAs, and scope as your finance organization grows. No long-term lock-in.

Reporting & dashboard maintenance

Update Power BI dashboards and Sage Intacct reports as your entity, provider, or service-line structure evolves. New requests scoped in hours.

End-user training & enablement

Onboarding new finance staff, refresher training on new features, and Q&A capacity for your controller, AP team, and operations finance partners.

Frequently Asked

Managed Services FAQ

The questions finance leaders ask before adding Campbell Technology Advisors as their outsourced Sage Intacct partner.

What does Managed Services & Support include?

Managed Services & Support covers everything that keeps Sage Intacct healthy after go-live: monthly system administration, user access reviews, dimension and chart-of-accounts hygiene, report and dashboard maintenance, integration monitoring (EMR, payroll, AP automation, banking), month-end close support, end-user training and Q&A, and quarterly optimization reviews with leadership. Engagements are scoped to your actual usage — most clients land between 10 and 40 hours per month.

How is this different from Sage support?

Sage support answers product-defect tickets. We answer "how do we close the month faster," "why does this report not tie to the GL," and "how do we add this new entity without breaking the consolidation." We act as your outsourced Sage Intacct administrator and finance-technology partner — the CPA-led team your controller calls before opening a Sage support case.

Do you offer fractional CFO or CIO-style leadership?

Yes. For organizations that need finance-technology strategy without a full-time hire, we provide fractional finance-technology leadership: roadmap ownership, vendor management, integration architecture, automation strategy, and quarterly executive reviews. Most fractional engagements run 8 to 20 hours per month with predictable monthly retainers.

What is the bundled-services discount?

Tier 1 (10% rate reduction): when Campbell & Company also provides $50,000+ per year of bookkeeping or accounting advisory services. Tier 2 (15% rate reduction): when Campbell & Company also provides $100,000+ per year of bookkeeping, tax planning, tax preparation, plus accounting advisory services. The discount applies to the technology hours billed by Campbell Technology Advisors and is reviewed annually based on the trailing 12 months of bundled services.

What is the minimum engagement?

Managed Services & Support engagements ship in 25-hour increments. There is no long-term contract — engagements renew quarterly. Most clients prepay a 25-hour block monthly and roll any unused hours forward up to one quarter. Pure project work (e.g., a one-time report build) does not require a managed services retainer.

Can you cover us when our internal Sage Intacct admin is out?

Yes. We frequently serve as the backup administrator for organizations whose primary Sage Intacct admin is on PTO, parental leave, or in transition. We hold scoped service credentials, follow your documented procedures, and step in during agreed coverage windows. This eliminates key-person risk on the system that runs your close.

How quickly do you respond to support requests?

Standard response is within one business day for routine requests and within four business hours for issues blocking month-end close, payroll, or AP runs. Critical production-down incidents receive same-business-day response. Response SLAs are documented in every managed services engagement letter so expectations are explicit.

Do you support clients outside Florida?

Yes. Managed Services are delivered virtually nationwide. Florida-based clients additionally benefit from in-person quarterly reviews and onsite training at no travel premium. Out-of-state clients receive the same delivery quality remotely with optional onsite visits scoped into the engagement.
